In 1997, MPI developed a drop-deployable 20 foot telescoping tower system for the Tactical Automated Security System (TASS). Going from design to deployment in less than 6 months, the AERIAL PTS Tower has become the industry standard for all-weather portable tower systems with 491 units in service in hot spots around the world including Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Korea and at critical installations around the U.S.

AERIAL PTS has just completed development of its new 10 to 36 foot synchronous variable height portable tower system which incorporates the same all-weather rigidity and now features interchangeable manual or power-assisted actuation. Incorporating its unique patent pending technology, AERIAL Portable Tower Systems provide a stable platform for drop-deployable all-weather operation for a wide variety of sensitive payload packages. MPI's AERIAL PTS can also be customized to meet a customer's specific payload and field condition requirements. Examples include permanent and vehicle mounted installations as well as remote control azimuth/elevation devices for RF link alignment.
